NEOPTIX FIBER OPTIC SENSORS APPOINTS MR. WILLIAM MORSE AS SALES MANAGER FOR THE ASIAN MARKETS

Quebec City, CANADA (August 28, 2009) – Neoptix is pleased to announce that Mr. William Morse has joined the company as Sales Manager Asia to support its marketing and commercial activities in the T&D field. Mr. Morse will be responsible for developing the fiber optic temperature transformer monitoring business in the emerging markets of Asia, South-East Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand.

“Will has an extensive experience in the power transformer industry worldwide.” Says Mr. Michel Plourde, Vice President Sales and Marketing at Neoptix. “Will has vast knowledge of the electrical industry both at the utility level and heavy industrials. His expertise in monitoring of power transformers will help Neoptix grow and open new markets ” adds Michel.

Mr. Morse brings over 25 years of experience in sales and support of transformer monitoring technologies. He will be reporting directly to Mr. Michel Plourde, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing and he will be based out of Neoptix head office in Quebec City.
